Hi,
I would like to know the efficiency for PowerPal T5 Turgo. As thepower range is interesting, we would also like to know to what loss is due.
Thank you

Hello!
Quite easy to calculate the efficiency:
Rated power diveded with head and flow! It is not fully exactly, but a good indicator!
Example:
4500W (electrical power output) / 21m / 50 l/s ~ 42% unit efficieny
6250W (turbine shaft power) / 21m / 50 l/s ~ 59% turbine efficieny
What do you mean with "we would also like to know to what loss is due" ???
Regards
Simon

Hi Simon,
thank you for the information about efficiency. As for loss, I just wanted to know if there were known reasons for efficiency not to be higher than 59% concerning the turbine shaft power.
Thank you again.
